I love presenting and I’m a dynamic and engaging speaker, as a conference keynote, leading a parent evening at a school, doing continuing education workshops for teachers, or talking at a book club. My style is very interactive, allowing lots of time for participants to ask questions about their own situations. I give new ways to look at challenging situations, and practical tips for parents or educators to take home and try right away.
I am currently lining up talks to celebrate my recently released book, Joyful Toddlers & Preschoolers: Create A Life that You and Your Child Both Love (Hohm Press, 2017). This book brings in research and practical solutions for fostering mutually responsive relationships between parents and children. Learn more about it here.

It was very clear that you are both experienced and knowledgeable in your work with very young children. I know that many who attended were enthusiastic about this subject [of “Getting to Yes”], and that they were successful with many of your suggestions at home later…Parents and caregivers were encouraged to speak, and you answered their questions directly and kindly…It was a privilege to have you. ~Sarah Capshaw of Rose Rock Preschool

I am also available for longer workshops for childcare providers, mom/tot teachers, or parents, in groups of five to twenty-five people.
Your Parent Enrichment talk at the school was inspiring, and many commented that they really needed the picture that you provided. It was wonderful to meet you.
~Kathryn Camp from the Waldorf School of the Roaring Fork

[Faith] brings real practical support in the work with young children. I call her “The Toddler Whisperer” because she works magic. But she is equally wise with mixed age groups. ~Suzanne Down, Director of the Rocky Mountain LifeWays training
