Gabriela Hydle has worked in her native country of Guatemala as a nursery lead teacher while teaching in preschool and mentoring children in English. In 2005 she obtained a bachelor in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, and at the end of the same year she volunteered as a teacher’s assistant in a Spanish Immersion classroom, for Abintra Montessori School in Nashville, Tennessee.
After moving to the US, she began working as an assistant in the nursery, then moved on to preschool and eventually she became the Spanish teacher for grades one through eight in Highland Hall Waldorf School. During this time she also began her journey to become a Waldorf teacher in Mexico. She enjoys crafts, woodwork and is very involved in beekeeping and permaculture. Her son Nicholas would be joining us as well.
Miss Gabriela will be starting her own Waldorf-inspired home preschool in the Applewood neighborhood of Denver in fall 2017. Learn more about her Palamax Play School here.
